After spending 7 years teaching middle school, I made the hard decision to leave my teaching career to raise my two beautiful children. After 3 years of concurring the stay-at-home-mom job, I decided it was time for my next challenge.
Health and fitness has always been a very important part of my life, and, in my past, to a fault. After struggling with my own health and fitness goals I learned quickly that life is all about balance. Nothing more drove that point home more than my children. I soon learned that is possible to take care of a growing family and take care of myself. When I took care of myself, I found myself taking better care of my family.
When it came time for me to determine my next adventure, I decided to pursue my passion of health and fitness and specifically, family health and fitness. I want to share my success of raising a family and staying in great shape with those around me. I strive to show families how important it is for parents to be interested in their own wellness. Through their interest in health and fitness their children can see first hand the importance of fueling and using their bodies in the right way!
I wish to teach, help and coach people to achieve their fitness goals and improve their lifestyle by finding balance.
