In the past 5-10 years lacrosse has become a sport many people have grown interest in. More people in the Midwest area are becoming aware of the sport and wanting to play and add it in their school programs. Most high schools in the Rochester area are developing competitive programs, and even trying to add programs to start learning the sport at a younger age. Girls enjoy the sport for the fast-pace, teamwork and competitiveness that it offers. Just this year Eisenhower High School has added a girl’s lacrosse program. The girls are dedicated to learn as much of the sport as they can before the season starts. The girls have been in the gym focusing on the fundamentals of the game to get them started.

Here are a few fundamental exercises that we work on everyday that can help step up your game:

  •  Dominate hand x 20

  •  Non-dominate hand x 20
