Katy Busam graduated from Rochester College with her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2013. She is now working at RC as the Head Coach of their men's and women's track and cross country programs and enrolled in a Master's program at Logan University studying Nutrition and Human Performance. Katy's fitness background is diverse with experience in distance running, modern dance, ballet, and performance.
Katy is passionate about holistic wellness and believes that true wellbeing comes from a combination of training hard, eating clean, and finding joy in the day to day. She finds that when she is working with athletes, their nutrition and sports performance are directly related and is specialized in creating performance meal plans. Her goal is to aid clients in finding the perfect, personal balance to help them feel their strongest in the gym and joyfully fulfilled with their nutrition.

Coach Katy has also started a NEW Running Program at SLHF this summer.
Monday and Friday from 9:00-10:00 she will be coaching a strength training program geared for runners of all ages.
Wednesday from 9:00-10:00 the group will meet at Starting Line and head out for a weekly group run.
The running program will run for 5 weeks
Meeting for a total of 15 sessions (2 strength – 1 run a week)
Cost for joining the program is $200
